Assata Is Welcome Here (Polo Collared Shirt)

I absolutely love my Assata shirt from Kashmirviii. The artwork is powerful, intentional, and beautifully executed—exactly what I’ve come to expect from one of the most skilled artists I know. She truly deserves more than her flowers.

It’s critical that we support Black artists like her who create for the culture, with purpose and care, and who aren’t afraid to tell our stories boldly through their work. I’ve owned several pieces from her brand over the years—purses, clutches, bandanas, graphic tees, and polos—and every single item has been a conversation starter. They always turn heads and definitely make white people do a double take.

Beyond the impact, the quality is top notch. Not one item I own has faded or worn down, which tells me how much time, intention, and attention to detail she pours into every part of her business. That level of craftsmanship doesn’t happen by accident.

I’m genuinely grateful that she continues to share her art with the world. Wearing her work feels meaningful—and that’s something you can’t replicate.

I absolutely love this too, the design is so fire & the cut of the shirt gives tailored but can dress down. The color is absolutely beautiful @ yes we are unapologetically black. Love this shop down because we are the alpha & omega 💗💗✊🏽

The shirt came extremely fast and I am very pleased. True to size and it gives soccer jersey vibes if that makes sense. Kashmir did that!
